What types of businesses does Kassly work for?

Kassly is built for three types of Filipino businesses. During onboarding, you choose your type and Kassly configures the right features for you.

  • R
    Retail — Sari-sari stores, grocery & minimart, pharmacy, boutique, hardware. Get barcode scanning, product variants, multi-branch stock, and batch/expiry tracking.
  • F
    Food & Beverage — Cafe, restaurant, milk tea shop, food cart, bakery, cloud kitchen. Get the Kitchen Display System, order modifiers, table management, and recipe costing.
  • S
    Services — Salon, barbershop, spa & wellness, gym & fitness studio, laundry, auto shop. Get appointment scheduling, walk-in queue, membership plans, service duration tracking, and staff commission reporting.
How do I get started with Kassly?

Sign up for a free account at kasslypos.com/app/register. Once registered, you can start adding products, set up your branches, and begin processing sales right away. You can also start a free 30-day trial of the Starter plan to unlock additional features.

Can I try before I pay?

Absolutely. The Free plan is free forever — no credit card, no time limit. If you want to try paid features, the Starter plan comes with a 30-day free trial. Downgrade anytime.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Kassly runs in any web browser on phones, tablets, laptops, or desktops. For printing transaction records, any 58mm or 80mm thermal printer works. No proprietary hardware required.

What happens when my internet goes down?

Kassly keeps working. All transactions are stored locally on your device and sync automatically when internet returns. You can operate offline for up to 72 hours without losing any data.

What payment methods does Kassly support?

Kassly supports cash, credit/debit cards, GCash, Maya, bank transfers, and credit accounts (store credit). You can also accept split payments across multiple methods in a single transaction.

What is the Kitchen Display System (KDS)?

The KDS sends orders directly to a screen in your kitchen so staff can see what to prepare without printed tickets. Orders are displayed in real-time, can be marked as complete, and help reduce errors and improve fulfillment speed. It's available on the Starter plan or as an individual add-on.

Does Kassly support memberships? (Gym, studio, session passes)

Yes. Kassly has a Membership Plans module built for gyms, fitness studios, and any service business that sells access over time or sessions.

  • Session-based plans — 10-session pass, 20-visit pack. Each check-in deducts one session from the member's balance.
  • Time-based plans — 1-month unlimited, 3-month membership. Access expires after the set period.
  • POS integration — Sell a plan at the POS and the membership activates automatically for that customer.

Memberships are available on the Starter plan and above.

How do I manage multiple branches?

Go to Management → Branches to add and manage locations. Each branch has its own terminals, inventory stock levels, and staff assignments. You can transfer stock between branches and view consolidated or per-branch reports.

How does SC/PWD discount work?

When a cashier selects SC or PWD discount, Kassly automatically applies the 20% discount and removes VAT from the eligible items per RA 9994/10754. The ID number is captured and included in the transaction record.

What is Payfolk and how does it connect?

Payfolk is our payroll and HR platform (also by Symflo). On the Growth plan and above, your Kassly shift data automatically syncs to Payfolk timesheets, and sales data can feed into commission calculations. Bundle both for a 12% discount.

How do I upgrade or change my plan?

Go to Settings → Billing in the app. From there you can view available plans, upgrade, downgrade, or add individual features as add-ons. You can also apply coupon codes for discounts.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Go to Settings → Billing and click "Cancel Subscription." Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and you can resume at any time before then. Your data is never deleted when you cancel — you just revert to the Free plan limits.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can request account deletion through our data deletion page or by emailing [email protected]. We will process your request and permanently remove your personal data.

Is Kassly a BIR-accredited POS?

Kassly is a business inventory and transaction tracker, not a BIR-accredited CAS/POS system. It generates transaction records and order summaries for your internal use — these are not official receipts or sales invoices. For BIR compliance, continue using your registered manual receipt booklets (OR/SI). Kassly's sales data and reports can be handed to your bookkeeper to help with tax filing.

How do I generate BIR-compliant reports?

Navigate to Sales → BIR Reports to generate Z-readings, sales summaries, and VAT reports. These reports follow the format required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue for Philippine businesses.
