Privacy Policy

Kassly ("we", "our", or "us") is a point-of-sale and inventory management application operated by Symflo. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Kassly mobile app and web platform, and the Kassly Card customer app (see the dedicated section below).

Information We Collect

When you use Kassly, we may collect:

  • Account details you provide during registration (name, email, business name)
  • Transaction and sales data processed through the POS
  • Product catalog and inventory information
  • Customer information you choose to store (name, contact details)
  • Device information and usage data for app functionality and troubleshooting

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Kassly service
  • To process transactions and generate receipts
  • To sync data between your devices and our servers
  • To send service-related notifications
  • To comply with legal and tax reporting requirements

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with encryption in transit and at rest. Each business account is isolated so other users cannot access your data. The Kassly app may store data locally on your device for offline functionality, which is synced to our servers when a connection is available.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as hosting and payment processing), and when required by law.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Transaction records may be retained longer to comply with tax regulations. You can request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us.

Your Choices

You can access, update, or delete your personal information through the app settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us and we will process your request.

Kassly Card (Customer App)

Kassly Card is our free companion app for customers of businesses that use Kassly. If you use Kassly Card, this section applies to you. When you create a Kassly Card account, we collect:

  • Your email address, an optional display name, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — we never see or keep your actual password)
  • The stores you choose to link by scanning their QR code — linking is always an explicit action you take; we never link a store to your account automatically
  • Login and account-security events (including IP address), kept in an audit log to detect unauthorized access and protect your account

The app's camera is used only to scan a store's QR code when you add that store. Camera images are processed on your device and are never uploaded or stored. We email you only for account actions you request — such as a one-time password-reset code — and will not send marketing email without your consent.

Your memberships, loyalty points, visit history, and package balances are records created, owned, and managed by each store you link. Kassly Card displays those records to you on the store's behalf; questions or disputes about them should be raised directly with the store.

You can delete your Kassly Card account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete account. Deletion takes effect immediately: your login is permanently removed and every linked store is disconnected. Records held by the stores themselves (such as your membership or points) remain with each store and are governed by that store's own policies. Limited security logs may be retained where needed for fraud prevention and legal compliance, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
