Books of accounts

Books of accounts, worked out from what you already record

Kassly builds a General Journal, General Ledger, Trial Balance and Cash Disbursements Journal from your sales, returns, expenses, purchase orders, payroll runs and shift closes. You never type a journal entry. Every line traces back to a transaction.

Included with every store, free plan too. No add-on needed.

What it does

Four books, plus statements

General Journal, General Ledger, Trial Balance and Cash Disbursements Journal, with a Balance Sheet and Income Statement next to them.

Worked out, not stored

Pick a date range and the entries are built on the spot. Correct a transaction and the books follow. There is no month-end close to run.

Voids land where they happened

A January sale voided in February stays in January's sales and shows in February as a voided sale.

Sealed days stay sealed

Once a daily Z reading seals a day, late corrections to that day are refused.

CSV and PDF for your bookkeeper

CSV opens cleanly in Excel. PDFs are A4 with your store name, address and TIN on top.

Included with every store

No add-on. Owners and managers can open them. Cashiers cannot.

What it does not do

Worth knowing before you rely on it. The manual page has the detail.

  • Kassly is not a BIR-accredited CAS. Registering your books is between you and your RDO; Kassly generates the documents but does not register them.
  • In the default mode the Books of Accounts link is hidden from the menu. The books are still being built, and support can give you the direct link.
  • No Cash Receipts, Sales or Purchases Journal as separate books.
  • No opening balances from before you started using Kassly.
  • Books cover the whole store. There is no branch filter.
