What it does
A rental is a service
Tick Rentals on an ordinary service. Its price becomes the hourly or per-block rate, so VAT, receipts, Z readings, commission and reports all work as usual.
Your minimum and rounding
Set a minimum billable time and round to the quarter hour, the hour, the block, or exact minutes.
A clock the tablet cannot fake
Start and stop are stamped by Kassly's own clock, not the device, so a wrong clock never over- or under-charges.
Book a court in advance
Bookings reserve the court. Open the booking when they arrive to start the meter and load the tab.
One meter per court
A second meter on a busy court is refused, and courts under maintenance cannot be metered.
Sell food and drinks on the same tab
Add items to the running tab, even offline.
What it does not do
Worth knowing before you rely on it. The manual page has the detail.
- Starting and stopping a meter needs a connection. The meter keeps running on screen if the line drops.
- The rentals board is in the mobile app. The web app is where you set up rates and courts.
- A booked hour is not a charged hour: the meter bills what actually happened.
