Consignment

Consignment: know what every reseller is holding

Hand goods to another shop and get paid only for what they sell. The stock stays yours while it sits on their shelf, and Kassly shows who is holding what of yours, and for how long.

Part of the Consignment add-on, ₱300/branch/month with a 30-day free trial. It is not in any bundle; you add it on its own.

What it does

Issue stock out

Your on-hand does not go down, because the goods are still yours. The quantity is reserved instead, so the POS cannot sell it.

See what each reseller holds

Held units and value per consignee, with every consign-out, return and settlement in their history.

Settle what they sold

Enter what they report and Kassly books a real sale with a receipt, by cash, GCash, Maya, card, bank transfer or on credit.

Receivables on terms

Settling on credit raises a receivable against the consignee, and their credit limit is enforced. Accounts Receivable comes with the add-on.

Take unsold stock back

Returns release the reservation. No revenue is reversed, because none was booked.

What it does not do

Worth knowing before you rely on it. The manual page has the detail.

  • It tracks goods you place with others, not goods a supplier places with you.
  • No commission or revenue split: you record the price you get.
  • No consignee statement to send them.
  • No batch or expiry tracking on consigned stock.
  • Web only, and it needs a connection.
