Draw your own floor and open the POS on it, let customers spend points and stamp cards at checkout, pick, pack and ship sales orders from a warehouse, and run a franchise brand on Kassly.
Four larger pieces went out on 2 October. Restaurants get a floor plan they draw themselves, customers can finally spend their rewards, wholesalers can ship from a warehouse, and franchise brands can run their network in Kassly.
Tables and the floor
Floor plans come with the Kitchen Orders & Tables add-on.
- Draw your own floor plan. Name your floors (Ground floor, 2nd floor, Al fresco, KTV rooms) and drag tables onto them: round, square, long, booth, bar seat, or a room or kubo. Add walls, doors, the bar, the kitchen, the cashier, the CR and other fixtures. Start from a café, samgyupsal, carinderia or KTV template, or trace over a photo of your place. Open it from Settings → Floor Plan. Tables you already had were placed on a floor for you, one floor per section. Floor Plan Designer
- A live floor. The Tables page shows each table where it really is, with chairs filling as guests sit, and views by status, time, kitchen, spend and waiter. The Floor pulse lists what needs someone: food ready, a bill out, a table past its turn time, a booking arriving, a table still being cleaned. Table Management
- Open the POS on the floor. In Store Settings → Dining, set the POS start screen to Floor plan. Tap a table to seat guests and order, and the POS goes back to the floor after Send. You can also ask for the party size and set a turn time target. Each phone or computer can keep its own start screen, so the counter PC can stay on Products.
- Move, merge, join and split. Move a party to another table, merge two bills, seat a big group across two tables on one bill and take a table off again, or split part of a bill off to pay on its own. Printing the bill marks the table Bill out. A bill with a discount or a payment on it can't be moved, merged, joined or split.
- Waiter sections. A manager puts tables in a waiter's section, and the apps show that waiter My tables.
- Order from the table by QR. Each table gets a QR code that opens your Online Store as a dine-in order for that table, with no OTP, cash on delivery or minimum order. Accept it and the round goes on the table's bill; paying the bill completes it. A free table's first QR order always waits for staff, even with auto-accept on, so nobody can order from a photo of the code at home. A store with delivery and pickup both off takes table orders only.
- Tables report. Reports → Tables shows ₱ per seat-hour, bills, guests, average time seated and how full each table runs, with a CSV export. It needs Business Reports.
Rewards customers can spend
Both need the Customer Memory & Promos add-on.
- Stamp cards. "Buy 9, the 10th is free", kept on the customer record instead of in their wallet. Set one up under Customers → Stamp Cards: how many stamps fill the card, and the reward, either a free item (from chosen categories or products, with an optional price cap) or an amount off the bill. You can also set a minimum spend, one stamp per day, and an expiry. A completed sale with a customer attached earns one stamp on each active card.
- Spend points at checkout. Customers could earn loyalty points before, but not spend them. Now, with a customer attached, checkout on the phone and desktop apps shows Rewards: their points and their stamp cards. Tap Use points or Redeem.
- One reward per sale. A reward is the sale's discount, so it can't be combined with a promo code or a Senior Citizen or PWD discount. Rewards need a connection and can't be used on an open table tab.
- Voiding a sale gives the points back, along with any stamp reward it used. Before, a voided sale kept the points spent on it.
Selling to businesses
- Pick, pack and ship. Confirmed sales orders now go out on shipments, listed under Sales → Shipments. Print a pick list sorted by bin, record what was picked, pack with the box count and weight, print a packing slip, and ship with the carrier, driver and plate number. A shipped order can get a numbered Delivery Receipt for the customer to sign. A one-person shop can go straight from the pick list to Ship. Sales Orders & Invoices
- Ship from a warehouse. Choose a warehouse under Ship from on a new order. Confirming holds the warehouse's stock, shipping moves it out, and only what has shipped can be invoiced. The branch still records the sale and issues the receipt. This needs the Warehouse & Commissary add-on. Warehouses
- A permission for shipments. Pick, Pack & Ship Sales Orders lets warehouse staff work shipments without seeing prices or editing and invoicing orders. Managers have it, and so does the Warehouse Staff role template.
- Distributor Pack. Inventory Pro, Stock Transfers, Warehouse & Commissary, B2B Sales Orders and Business Reports in one pack, for ₱1,449 a month. A new Wholesaler / Distributor business type at sign-up gets the pack suggested. Plans & Add-ons
Franchise Management
For franchise brands and the businesses that run them. Each franchisee keeps its own Kassly, with its own books, BIR registration, staff and customers, linked to the brand by an agreement either side can end.
- For the brand. Invite franchisees by email, or set up a Kassly for one who doesn't have it yet. Keep a brand menu with sizes, photos, add-on groups and recipes, and lock prices where your agreement allows. See every outlet's sales, top items, low stock and price differences, today or over any range up to a year. Review and issue the monthly royalty statements Kassly drafts for you, and sell supplies to franchisees as ordinary sales orders. One account can run more than one brand.
- For the franchisee. Add the brand's items to your catalog and review each change the brand makes before it applies. Order supplies from the brand and receive them into stock. Download each royalty statement as a PDF, or dispute it.
- What the brand sees. Only for the branches you link to it: total sales, and the units sold, stock and price of the brand's items. Never your other products, customers, staff, payroll or books.
The brand needs the Franchise Management add-on; franchisees don't. Franchise Management
On phones and desktop
The floor, split bills, waiter sections and rewards at checkout are in Kassly 1.31.0 for Android and iOS and Kassly Desktop 1.13.0. On the web, the Tables page is for watching the floor and moving parties; orders are taken in the apps. Pick, pack and ship and Franchise Management are on the web.
