Installing the App

Kassly has two halves, and it matters which one you're in:

• The app — where you sell. Runs on Android and iOS phones and tablets, works offline, drives the receipt printer and cash drawer.
• The web back office — where you manage. Runs in any browser on a laptop or desktop: products, inventory, staff, reports, settings.

You can do a surprising amount from either, but selling is designed for the app and setup is much faster on a real keyboard.

Getting the app

Sign in with the same email and password you used at signup. The app will pull down your store, products, and settings on first login — do that once on wi-fi before you rely on it at the counter.

Getting the back office

Open kasslypos.com in a browser and sign in. There is nothing to install.

Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox are all supported. It works on a phone browser in a pinch, but tables and reports are much easier to read on a bigger screen.

What hardware you need

Nothing, to start. A phone you already own is enough to make your first sale.

When you're ready to set up a real counter:

Item	What to know
Tablet	An 8–11" Android tablet is the usual choice. It must have Google Play — some models sold in the Philippines ship without it and cannot install the app.
Receipt printer	58mm or 80mm thermal, connected by Bluetooth or USB. 80mm is easier to read and standard for BIR receipts.
Cash drawer	Usually driven by the printer, not the tablet.
Barcode scanner	Optional. A Bluetooth scanner speeds up a grocery or pharmacy counter considerably; the app can also scan with the camera.

Keeping the app updated

Updates arrive through Google Play and the App Store like any other app. Turn on automatic updates if you can — releases regularly carry BIR-related and sync-related fixes, and running an old build at the counter is how small problems become end-of-day problems.
